This was a very interesting article. Is there any chance SunAir will be transitioning some of the longer B767 routes to B777 and perhaps some of the shorter ones to A320 or B738?

Re: Is Boeing 767 Running out of Time?
Rich,
We have been quietly transitioning some of the flights from B767 or B777 to B738s, not because we're phasing out either of them, but to keep a little of realism going. For example, some of our hubs with B777 flights do not have the ramp space for that many heavies in real life. Also, real-world airline do not fly a B777 or B767 on domestic short routes. So, we're moving heavies out to other airports that have the ramp space and large volume of passengers for long haul flights, such as Washington Dulles, New York Kennedy, and Los Angeles' International. As an example of the range of the B738, we added several flights in/out of Houston's George Bush International that reach from Seattle to New York.
When we get good offerings of the B787 in both freeware and payware options, I'll lobby to add some of them to our fleet, perhaps phasing out the B767. What do you think?

Qantas retires one of their B767 over to Victorville, United States, on 60 minutes.

I read an article a few months ago that basically said the 787 was mostly to replace the 767 - especially the range and fuel efficiency. Plus the 787 cruises at M0.85. That AeroMexico from JFK to MMMX hurt my feelings last winter. He was smoking fast behind the B738 going to TPA

Looks like the B767's days aren't over after all. Here's some new info about the new tanker for the USAF.
