I found my first SAX operations manual that I used when I joined SAX on AOL back in early September 1993. The manual included everything needed to be a SAX pilot back then, even the routes and clearances.
Here is an excerpt from the manual listing some of the officer's names:
Our hubs are TPA, ATL, STL and SFO. Rich Gasperin (NTTV56A)
is the hub chief in TPA on Prodigy. Jim Owen (72613,3446) holds
that position on CIS. James Erwin (BKCB33A) is in charge of ATL
on both Prodigy and soon on CIS, Kenneth Baumgarten (NGNM03A) heads
up STL and William Fletcher (72172,1132) is chief of the SFO hub.
James Bond (Flyer 007) is organizing a hub on AOL. Other
management personnel include Frank Patton who serves as VP for
Training and Jerry Madero who is VP for Operations. SunAir simply
could not function without the dedication of these officers and
many others who take time to collect and publish the weather, for
example, on Prodigy.
I converted the manual into a PDF file. You can download the entire 34 page manual if you wish here.
