PMDG B737 NG2.0 for FS2004

Do you know something about FS9, or an aircraft, panel, scenery or an add-on for it? Post information and links about them here.

PMDG B737 NG2.0 for FS2004

Post by Marty_Becker »

Looks like PMDG is going to produce the B737 NG2.0 for FS2004 and not just for FSX.

Are the aircrafts from PMDG too complicated for the casual simmer, or are they pretty easy to learn/operate? I am thinking about purchasing the 737NG, but I am not a real-world pilot and don't know that I'll get very far in trying to fly it successfully.

There is a tutorial in the SAX file library called: 737ngadvtutorialv2.zip

Download it and read it over. Yes, it is more complicated than loading up a FS flight plan in the default GPS and flying, but the time spent will enhance your simming experience.

oh do get it, it flies the same way, the learning curve I think is the Flight Management System, but PMDG has awesome documentation. First couple flights will be painful probably, but worth it!

They make the best addons by far, Level D 767 is also top notch.

Complicated at first but I've gotten to the point with the 737NG that I can just hop in, plug in my stuff and go. After about 5-10 flights you get the hang of it and its so much better than the default 737.
