Hear Altitude Callouts During Final Approach

Do you know something about FS9, or an aircraft, panel, scenery or an add-on for it? Post information and links about them here.

Hear Altitude Callouts During Final Approach

Post by Dave Blake »

Would you like to hear your second officer callout the altitudes during your final approach?

I found a file on http://www.avsim.com in the FS2004 gauge file library called "Easly Add Altitude Callouts to Any Aircraft" with the file name "altitude_callout.zip" by David Marshall.

http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?Ca ... DLID=60429

I have tried this with the CRJ and it works great. No reason it shouldn't work with any aircraft.

Here is the AVSIM File Description:
Hear altitude callouts - (from your trusty co-pilot) - at 400, 300, 200, 100, 50, 40, 30, 20 and 10 feet above the runway. This can be easily done to virtually any aircraft. You may already have the necessary FPDA sound and gauge files but if not, they are included. Just unzip to a temporary directory (using folders option) and follow the very simple instructions, Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall. For FS2004 only.
