I am pleased to announce that SFO hub Captain Jim Tilley SAX741 has surpassed the 1,000 flight hours mark last month (12/2008) and has been promoted to the SunAir Express highest pilot rating of Command Captain.

Congratulations Jim and sorry about the late announcement!

Congratulations Jim. From all that flying, do you have a favorite airplane type :?: What is your most memorable experience while flying for SAX :?:

Again, congratulations.

In response to Dave Vega's inquiry about my favorite airplane, I really enjoy flying the A-320. Recently I started a few flights with the Focker. I really like the way it handles. My most memorable flight had to be flying from Atlanta into Mexico City (flight #226) in a 767. The descent had to be quick and I ran into a fog bank of biblical proportion. Almost did a go-around, but managed to get on the ground without disasterous consequence. Thanks for all the support. As I have reiterated on occasion it is a joy to fly for Sunair Express.......jt
