Congratulations goes out to Command Captian Lyle Kirgan (SAX272) on passing the 1000 flight hours mark! Captain Kirgan has added over 350 flight hours just this year alone. Well done Lyle!

Captian Kirgan's career with SAX goes back to January 1994 on America Online using ATP. I was his first hub chief back then and he was flying out of TPA. I see my old records show that Lyle's first flight was RSW to TPA in the B737 with a flight time of 27 minutes (no doubt ontime I am sure). And look at him now!

Captain Kirgan first managment position was the SFO hub chief when it first started up on AOL. After a while he switched and took over ATL hub and still holds that position. Lyle is a very important part of SAX management while still managing to rack up flight hours.

Lyle is also the master programer of the new Pilot Operations Center. The POC has been a major improvement to SAX operations and has freeed up valuable hub chief time for more important projects. Look for a major update to the SAX flight schedule shortly.

So, congratulations again Command Captain Kirgain! Keep 'em flying!
