Re: FSX Unexpectly Crashes to Desktop

These type of problems are so difficult to diagnose. Are you experiencing similar problems with other programs, or just in windows itself? Do you have the latest drivers for your mouse? Also check this and here to see if it helps.

For those that like the B747, the Smithsonian Channel has released an incredible documentary of the complete history of Boeing's 747 program. You can view here.

Re: SunAir Express 2016 Fleet Plan

Here is an article about an Q400 operator airline, and here is another about the Q400 itself. Note that in the 2nd article, the Q400 is offered as a more economical alternative to regional jets on flights between 400-450 nautical miles. It seems that the markets for the B190 and the Q400 aren't nec...

Re: SunAir Express 2016 Fleet Plan

Thank you Richard. We have been moving some B777 from the Atlanta hub to Washington Dulles to offer international service from there. We may do the same with B767s and New York Kennedy. I also like the idea of using B767s for cargo operations.

Thanks Marty. Yes, moving the B190s to Alaska is one of the plans. Perhaps leave some in Denver?

SunAir Express 2016 Fleet Plan

Here's a look at SunAir Express Fleet Plan for 2016. We're seriously considering introducing the the Bombardier Q400 (DH8D) to replace the B190 in some routes and to fly new commuter flights. While the Majestic Software payware version is ranked by most as the best turboprop for a personal computer...

Re: Embraer Ejets

Peter, I don't have an immediate solution for you, but we could try to diagnose what's the problem. Do you have both FS9 and FSX installed? If so, are you using the Load Manager in the FSX version of the EMB Configuration tool? If "yes" so far, when on the Load Manager tab, try using the E...

Re: Poll: VFR Flight Routes

Thank you Peter. If it flies OK should be good enough for folks that just like to get on it and fly. Do you know if it has a paint kit, or a blank texture? I can't download it right now, but could check later. BTW, the original of that one is by Premier Aircraft Design available here . Dave sax702

Re: Poll: VFR Flight Routes

I would like to see the Q400 in Europe and the US. Most of my flights are in the US but I notice a lot of flights logged in Europe. I haven't flown the B190 in years so a quick replacement would be great. I know its a lot of work so maybe a gradual transition starting with the longer B190 lines mig...

Re: Poll: VFR Flight Routes

Rich,

A good idea, the B190 is getting old. Where would you see the Q400 flying, US? Europe? both? Do you see a slow phase in of the Q400, or immediate. Do you know of a good freeware Q400 for FSX and for FS9?

Peter, Xavier Hutin is our B747 Chief Pilot. I'm sure he'll jump in with advice as soon as he sees this. I know PMDG is working on a new version, but nobody knows when it will come out. The expectations are sometime this year. I'm certain that it will cost more than the current version. I do own the...
