Re: Poll: VFR Flight Routes

I think it would be okay for lines to be developed and flown for those who want a change of pace.

Re: Poll: What Is Your Primary Flight Sim for SAX Flights?

You might want to look into Flight Simulator Commander 9. It works on both FS9 and FSX. I'm able to keep FSC updated using Navigraph. I also use Ifly 737s which also work on both flight sims.

Re: Poll: What Is Your Primary Flight Sim for SAX Flights?

Just an FYI...I have tried FSX and had so much problems with it that I had to go to FS9. It is not what I would like, but the experience with FSX was too frustrating. Can't get a decent landing because of the start/stop frame rates during landing.

Re: Poll: What Is Your Primary Flight Sim for SAX Flights?

I would love to use FSX, but the frame rates are inconsistent and "jerky." I would definitely need to have a newer computer with Windows 7 in order to make it work. Then, adding FSACARS to the mix decreases performance to the point that using FSX is more of a frustration than an enjoyment.

Re: POLL: Monthly Flight Rotation

Maybe it would be a good idea to show what a monthly rotation would look like (e.g. time required to complete it, aircraft)

Re: The future of SAX

David, I understood your message. I just don't have time to be part of two VAs. As you can see by my flight stats, I have flown over 700 hours since rejoining SunAir, which means I have taken flying for this VA seriously. I guess I feel that it's getting a more professional flair, and I'm not really...

Re: The future of SAX

I have to agree with some of the sentiment of the pilots who have voiced some concern for the "strictness" of SunAir Express. I am not opposed to using FSFK to track my progress, and I understand the need to be able to automatically record aspects of my flight to post to the SunAir POC. I ...

For me, FSFK was definitely worth the purchase. The feedback received from the software has helped me correct some problems I was experiencing.

Thanks to Dave Blake, Dave Vega, Marty Becker and Roy Brent!! I'm sure it was quite a job to make the changes, including the new aircraft. I can't wait to try the lines for the new hub.
