Pressing A will get you to the overhead panel, but it cycles you through a few screens before you get there. There may be a way to map a key to get there quicker.
I'm going to have to spend a little more time in the manual .

Re: PMDG B777-200 Released for FSX
It only has popups for 2D so it is flown mostly with the 3D panel. I don't really like that ...Rich Could you confirm if 2D panel option? I am waiting on the 747v2 and I guess if this one doesnt have full 2D the 747v2 wont either :(. There is no 2D panel but there are popups for the MCP and CDU. Th...

Re: PMDG B777-200 Released for FSX
I downloaded it last night and plan to do a couple training flight before doing a revenue flight this weekend. It only has popups for 2D so it is flown mostly with the 3D panel. I don't really like that but its the way everyone is going now, Aerosoft's A320 and Majestic's Q400 are also 3d panels. Rich

Dave,
Thanks for the video. It was a nice lesson on landing as well as a brief E190 tutorial.

Majestic Q400
Majestic released their Q400 a few weeks ago and it seems to be a really good commuter. Is there any chance of phasing this in to replace the Beech 1900D. The seating capacity is a lot more than the 1900D it may not be suitable for all markets. Still it would be a great plane to fly.

I would like to keep the position maps and the last ten seems like it will give us that information without too much of a performance hit on the database.

Airbus Xtreme
Has anybody tried the Airbus Xtreme Prologue? It's by BlackBox Simulations who took over the Phoenix Simulations Software (PSS) Airbus and B757 products. The screenshots look good on the website, http://www.blackboxsimulation.com/ but I haven't been able to find much information elsewhere. I got an ...

New Commuter
Just wondering if SunAir Express is giving any thought to upgrading the commuter lines with a newer aircraft. I've been looking at the Majestic Dash-8 Q300. I haven't seen any screenshots of the panel or FMC so I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it.
Thanks ... Rich

Re: POLL: Monthly Flight Rotation
I've been flying with SunAir Express for a long time and enjoy it very much. The standards set by this VA have made me a better virtual pilot and I appreciate that. I'm in favor of policies that improve pilot skills and add realism to the flying while still making it fun. I voted against monthly fli...

Re: Poll: Accelerated Time Mode Usage
I don't think accelerated time should be allowed for any flight less the 2 or maybe 3 hours Blk-Blk. I rarely fly flights more than 3 hours for this very reason and most of my 8+ hour flights are overnighters. It really shouldn't be about building hours and if that's the goal I agree that this is no...

Re: SunAir Voice Callsign
Okay, first I checked out the Beta EditVoicePack for FSX but it doesn't appear to let you add new airlines. So I went to plan B and copied my voice files from FS9. This is what I did: Copied .. \FSX\Sound\ATC\USEnglishBig.gvp to a safe place Copied ..\FS9\Sound\USEnglishBig.gvp.evporg and EVP_Accele...

Re: SunAir Voice Callsign
Thanks Dave,
I downloaded the Beta version yesterday and plan to give it a try this weekend. There was also comments about just copying your USEnglishBig.gvp from FS9. I don't know enough about EditVoicePack to know how that will impact other things.
I'll keep the group advised on the results.

SunAir Voice Callsign - EditVoicePack
I finally broke down, or rather my computer broke down, and I upgraded to a dual core machine capable of running FSX. I'm moving things over and slowly transitioning but I'm curious about the SunAir voice callsigns work in FSX. I was able to copy the AI flights and they work great except ATC says &q...

Thanks Guys,
I didn't realize I had flown that many hours, especially this year. SunAir Express has great routes, excellent paints and wonderful group of people.
I'm looking forward to the next 1000 hrs.

iFLY 747 Anyone?
I downloaded the iFLY B747 and applied SP3 last week and I was really impressed with quality of the panel and functionality of the FMC. I don't have PMDG's 747 but I do have their 737 series and this panel is in the same ballpark with PMDG. Not quite as detailed but amazing quaility and detail for f...

Re: New Poll:Which Flight Sim Do You Use For SAX Flights?
I installed FSX when it first came out but was dissatisfied with the framerates using the default aircraft. I have a P4 3.04 Ghz CPU and 2 GB memory which is quite adequete for FS9. I don't think I will reinstall it until I get a fast dual or quad core machine but even with that FSX only makes limit...

B777 Anyone?
Since the question aircraft types came up I thought I would raise the B777 question again. I think there was some discussion a while back but I don't remember the outcome.
Should we consider replacing some B747 and B767 routes with the B777? I have the PSS B777 and I love flying it.
