PMDG B737
I did my first SAX flight with the new PMDG B737 and it is amazing. Much easier on framerates that I expected and the transition from the P3D version was really easy. It works with FS Flightkeeper although some of the switches and knobs aren't recognized. It did record my firm landing correctly :-)....

Re: Poll: Preferred Flight Sim for Your SAX Flights
I have been flying MSFS 2020 exclusively for over a year now. I'm only using the FlyByWire A320 and Aerosoft CRJ for my SAX flights. I also spend some time in the WT CRJ4 and modded DA62.
Looking forward to PMDG's 737 so I can get back into Boeings

Re: Any ACARS for FS2020
I just completed a flight in MSFS2020 using the FBW A320 (Stable version) with FSFK Version 3.5.2 Build 1750 and submitted the report. I know this isn't officially supported but it seems to work. It was great to get a SunAir flight in again since I have completely migrated to MSFS2020. I'll try the ...

Re: Poll: Preferred Flight Sim for Your SAX Flights
I'm using P3D v4.4 Academic along with ProATC-X and ActiveSky as my foundation. The aircraft I fly most often are PMDG B738 and AeroSoft A3XX. The others I fly less frequently are PMDG B777, AeroSoft CRJ and Majestic Q400. I have the MadDog and just got the CaptSim B757 but haven't had much time wit...

AeroSoft A320 Professional
AeroSoft released its A320 for P3D V4.3 earlier this week after many delays. It flies great and I was able to use the SunAir skin for A320.
Great to be flying the Bus again.

Re: Poll: Preferred Flight Sim for Your SAX Flights
I only use P3D v4 now although I still have v3 installed. It allows me to go crazy with addon scenery without OOM crashes.
Waiting for Aerosoft to release the A320 so I fly that again. Most of the other SAX planes are available in P3D v4.

Re: Level-D 767 Ported to P3D
Just to jump in on this... I have the ORBX Global, openLC North America, SoCal, NorCal, and Pacific Northwest. I get better frame rates with P3D4 than I did with version 3 , although SoCal is still pretty intense and drops to 12-15 at its worst. Most other places including SFO and SEA are in the hig...

P3Dv4 First Look
I installed P3Dv4 last week and spent a little time with it. There are many posts on other forums about so I won't rehash all those comments. For me (and most people) its all about the OOM's. I have most of the ORBX scenery, FlyTampa KTPA, FSDT GSX, KFLL and KIAH and UTLive. They all work in v4. PMD...

Level-D 767 Ported to P3D
The FSX version of Level-D 767 has been ported to P3D and has an installer. The updated version can be downloaded and is available at no cost to licensed FSX users. That along with the Zinertek HD virtual cockpit makes the aircraft a pleasure to fly again. I added the door gauge to make it work with...

I'm using the Aerosoft A320 repaint and PMDG B738 repaint in P3D and they both work great.

I have been using P3D since V3.3 came out and I rarely ever run FSX anymore. I'm using the Aerosoft A320, Majestic Q400, and PMDG 737 NGX. My B777 flying is on hold for now because of the expense of the PMDG 777. Looking forward to a quality RJ for P3D. Aerosoft could be the one if it ever gets out ...

Thanks Dave for the West Coast DH8D flights. I'm really looking forward to flying in my own backyard (KSBP,KMRY). I kinda side sidetracked from the DH8 but I'm getting back to it. I did a flight Sunday and after the landing I'll be doing some training  . There is a good tutorial on Majestic si...

Re: SunAir Express 2016 Fleet Plan
I'm looking forward to 2016!! It promises to be an exciting year. Retaining some B190 lines and expanding their operations in Alaska is a smart move. I haven't seen any good B787 models yet but it is still a relatively new airplane. I'm sure some will come later. The B767 is a great airplane and alt...

Re: Poll: VFR Flight Routes
I would like to see the Q400 in Europe and the US. Most of my flights are in the US but I notice a lot of flights logged in Europe. I haven't flown the B190 in years so a quick replacement would be great. I know its a lot of work so maybe a gradual transition starting with the longer B190 lines migh...

Re: Poll: VFR Flight Routes
I would probably not fly VFR routes but the idea of short and small cargo is interesting. I would be more interested in flying them IFR.
What I really would like is to transition the B190's to Q400's. Not to hijack the topic but has anyone else expressed interest in this?
Thanks ... Rich

Given it was multiple choice you may have been able to get it from just the field elevation.

Re: Is Boeing 767 Running out of Time?
This was a very interesting article. Is there any chance SunAir will be transitioning some of the longer B767 routes to B777 and perhaps some of the shorter ones to A320 or B738?

I was quite happy with FS9 but eventually moved on to FSX because all the new aircraft only support FSX.
