Re: Level-D 767 Ported to P3D

Just to jump in on this... I have the ORBX Global, openLC North America, SoCal, NorCal, and Pacific Northwest. I get better frame rates with P3D4 than I did with version 3 , although SoCal is still pretty intense and drops to 12-15 at its worst. Most other places including SFO and SEA are in the hig...

P3Dv4 First Look

I installed P3Dv4 last week and spent a little time with it. There are many posts on other forums about so I won't rehash all those comments. For me (and most people) its all about the OOM's. I have most of the ORBX scenery, FlyTampa KTPA, FSDT GSX, KFLL and KIAH and UTLive. They all work in v4. PMD...

Level-D 767 Ported to P3D

The FSX version of Level-D 767 has been ported to P3D and has an installer. The updated version can be downloaded and is available at no cost to licensed FSX users. That along with the Zinertek HD virtual cockpit makes the aircraft a pleasure to fly again. I added the door gauge to make it work with...

Re: Repaints for Prepar3D PMDG Aircraft

I'm using the Aerosoft A320 repaint and PMDG B738 repaint in P3D and they both work great.

Re: PMDG B777-200 Released for FSX

Pressing A will get you to the overhead panel, but it cycles you through a few screens before you get there. There may be a way to map a key to get there quicker.

I'm going to have to spend a little more time in the manual ;-).

Re: PMDG B777-200 Released for FSX

I downloaded it last night and plan to do a couple training flight before doing a revenue flight this weekend. It only has popups for 2D so it is flown mostly with the 3D panel. I don't really like that but its the way everyone is going now, Aerosoft's A320 and Majestic's Q400 are also 3d panels. Rich

Majestic Q400

Majestic released their Q400 a few weeks ago and it seems to be a really good commuter. Is there any chance of phasing this in to replace the Beech 1900D. The seating capacity is a lot more than the 1900D it may not be suitable for all markets. Still it would be a great plane to fly.

Has anybody tried the Airbus Xtreme Prologue? It's by BlackBox Simulations who took over the Phoenix Simulations Software (PSS) Airbus and B757 products. Re: Error Sending Flight Report

Thanks Guys,

Deleting SAX746.DAT fixed the problem and I did a short flight from KSFO-KSMF that got reported properly.

SAX746.DAT had valid data from the previous flights so I'm going to post that manually.

Error Sending Flight Report

The last two flight reports I tried submitting via FSACARS gave a "Error Sending Log Data Base Error" message. One flight was 3/4 and the other was 3/10.

Any suggestions on how I might clean up the files and start again.

Duplicate KSTL-KAUS

Somehow I have duplicate flights posted for a KSTL-KAUS flight and it shows 21.2 hrs BLK time. I could have driven it quicker that that and use a lot less fuel :D

I'm also getting database errors on flights I attempted to enter. I'll try another flight and post the logs.

Re: SunAir Voice Callsign

Okay, first I checked out the Beta EditVoicePack for FSX but it doesn't appear to let you add new airlines. So I went to plan B and copied my voice files from FS9. This is what I did: Copied .. \FSX\Sound\ATC\USEnglishBig.gvp to a safe place Copied ..\FS9\Sound\USEnglishBig.gvp.evporg and EVP_Accele...

Re: SunAir Voice Callsign

Thanks Dave,

I downloaded the Beta version yesterday and plan to give it a try this weekend. There was also comments about just copying your USEnglishBig.gvp from FS9. I don't know enough about EditVoicePack to know how that will impact other things.

I'll keep the group advised on the results.

SunAir Voice Callsign - EditVoicePack

I finally broke down, or rather my computer broke down, and I upgraded to a dual core machine capable of running FSX. I'm moving things over and slowly transitioning but I'm curious about the SunAir voice callsigns work in FSX. I was able to copy the AI flights and they work great except ATC says &q...

Re: Should Long-haul Flights Be Graded On-time?

I really the idea of a sliding scale for long flights. There are so many varialbes in oceanic flights. I try to use the most current NATS and depending on time of year there could be as much as an hour difference in the projected and actual times.

Sort in POC

Has anyone noticed the sort feature in the POC doesn't work anymore. I noticed this after the recovery last weekend. Under Route Search, I selected a departure and tried sorting the flights by Blk to find one I had time to fly. Also, under List Airports I tried sorting by Code.
