Re: Scenery Loading Causes Stutters in P3dV4
It seems to happen every where. I have installed ORBX scenery: Base Pack, openLC Europe, openLC North America, openL South America Vector, Trees HD EU Airport Pack, and Lights Configurator. I think it I less noticeable when flying small General Aviation aircraft. But with the big ones it is really n...

Scenery Loading Causes Stutters in P3dV4
I am using P3d v4 and have had good performance until recently. I have tried changing the settings but it has not resolved. I think I read some where that there is a line that can be added to the P3dv4.cfg but can't remember how or where I found it. It is supposed to load all the scenery you need so...

Re: PRO-ATC/ X
I used Radar Contact for years but it didn't work well for me when I got to P3D. While Radar Contact was better, it still did no follow the star when being set up for final. Pro-ATC/X follows the sid and the star when it is in control. I will admit there are times when vectors are used but that depe...

Re: PRO-ATC/ X
For what it is worth: One neat thing I noticed with Pro-ATC was that depending on which European country I am flying over, I hear ATC chatter in the language of that country. I flew from LSZH to LEBL. Over France I heard French spoken. When I was in the area of Spain I heard Spanish. ATC still spoke...

Re: Poll: Preferred Flight Sim for Your SAX Flights
I was using my trim buttons on the joystick but I didn't allow enough time to let the trim catch up where it should be. I was also near the runway and couldn't look down to check what was going on. I think you are right that I was behind the curve. For me, I find this aircraft harder to fly than the...

Re: Poll: Preferred Flight Sim for Your SAX Flights
I noticed that this aircraft seems to get to the destination earlier than the block time consistently in the few practice runs I have made. I admit to having some trouble getting it set up for vor/dme landings at night. The problem had to do with disconnecting the autopilot and trying to manually fl...

Re: Poll: Preferred Flight Sim for Your SAX Flights
I purchased the Flight Sim Labs A320X a month ago or so and like it very much. It is a little expensive. The documentation is not as complete as I would like but there are tutorials on line and after flying for awhile, it just takes some practice.

PRO-ATC/ X
I have been testing out PRO_ATC/ X and it works great with P3D v4.1. I flew a flight tonight using the FSLabs A320X. I still have a learning curve on how to compensate for the difference in the P3D runway headings and the ones that the NAVIGRAPH has when I update it. On the flight to LTBA from LSGG,...

Re: Level-D 767 Ported to P3D
I was looking around and found that there is a new A320 for P3Dv4. It is on the expensive side; Here is the link:

Re: Level-D 767 Ported to P3D
Hi Dave, I have all the ORBX Sceneries. I have FTX Global Base Pack, openLC: Europe, North America, South America as well a s FTX Global and FTX Trees HD. I also have FTX Lights Configurator. Of course since I live in the Pacific Northwest I have that installed as well. In the more scenery intense a...

Re: Level-D 767 Ported to P3D
I had similar thoughts but had enough of the OOM and slow frame rates after I purchased ORBX scenery. KSEA was down to 7 fps. I did repurchase the PMDG aircraft as I knew I would use them again. From what I have read it appears that the A320 will be developed into a 64 bit version but by who I can't...

Re: Level-D 767 Ported to P3D
In answer to my own question, I tried installing the P3D v3 into the P3d V4. There were no gauges and the overhead was a black square.

Re: P3Dv4 First Look
I just did today. I haven't gotten all my scenery installed. I have Active Sky upgrade and FSUIPC version 5 installed. I also plan on keeping my version 3 of P3D. So far I think it is great.

Use of 757
I was wondering if the 757 can be flown for SunAir Express routes in place of the 767? I wanted to in stall my FSX Level-D 767 into P3D but read enough to know that there are some problems in doing that. I noticed a 757 for P3D at Just Flight but don't want to buy it if I can't use it. Re: Repaints for Prepar3D PMDG Aircraft
Hi Dave, I followed your instructions and checked. Everything is as you instructed. I don't know what to do as I have again looked at the instructions and checked them out as well. The PMDG 747 is the only aircraft I couldn't get to display in the select vehicle display. Thank you for the informatio...

Re: Repaints for Prepar3D PMDG Aircraft
I downloaded all the repaints that applied to PMDG and installed them per instructions. The 737 and 777 repaints work fine as well as the A-320. I checked and double checked the SAX PMDG 747 Paint installations and they do not show up inPrepar3D. I copied and pasted as instructed and then added the ...

PMDG Aircraft Licensing Fails After Activating
I thought that this might be of interest. I tried to load a PMDG aircraft and got an error message and couldn't use the PMDG 747, 777 or 737. Here is the response I got from PMDG Support. There are two possible causes for the flxActCommonRepairLocalTrustedStorage (50044,71013,8) error. The most comm...

Repaints for Prepar3D PMDG Aircraft
I was wondering if the repaints for the FSX PMDG aircraft would work for the ones that they have published as being for Prepar3D? I tried to place this under the Prepar3D topic but I didn't have the permissions to use it.

Re: Poll: Preferred Flight Sim for Your SAX Flights
I have noticed the problem when flying the Majestic. No matter how careful I am I never seem to get the altimeter setting correct for either departure or arrival. I also seem to have problems with excessive G-Force no matter how careful I am. Still, I just enjoy the Dash 8 so it really doesn't matter.

Re: Poll: Preferred Flight Sim for Your SAX Flights
Thank you. I will give a try after I get my new computer up and running. Tomorrow I will re-install my flight sims and then the scenery and finally the aircraft. After that the flight reporting software then back to flying. My old computer was finally gave up.

Re: Poll: Preferred Flight Sim for Your SAX Flights
I just bought P3D but haven't set it up yet. I was trying to find out if FS Flight Keeper will work with it before I tried it.
