New
Pilot Evaluation Program
Are
you an experienced IFR flight sim pilot?
This
program will only see if you have what it takes to be a SunAir Express
pilot. It will not train you to be a pilot.
-
Can you pass a short open book written
test covering basic knowledge includes preflight planning, navigation, aircraft procedures and operations?
-
Can you pass a short
checkride flight from Kansas City KMCI to Saint Louis KSTL flying a
B737?
To pass the checkride flight you
must be able to:
-
Create a
IFR clearance flight plan including the published departure and arrival
then navigate the route you made.
-
Fly a B737
using the proper VR takeoff airspeeds, proper landing gear
retraction and extension airspeeds, proper flap retraction and
extension airspeeds.
-
Fly an ILS approach
and follow the ILS within one dot of the localizer and glide slope centerlines beginning from the outer marker.
-
Create a flight video
of your ILS approach and landing using the flight
simulator's flight video recorder.
-
Land within the runway's touchdown zone near the centerline.
-
Land with a
vertical touchdown rate of less then -500 feet per minute at the
proper airspeed.
If
you can do all of this then you have what it
take to be a SunAir Express pilot. Please signup
below to begin the New Pilot
Evaluation Program today!
